“Kids Can Be Cruel”

Think before speaking

And realize that life is not fair.

Growing up has become difficult

Kid’s words are like daggers

Piercing souls

Leaving nothing left but void

At a young age lessons are taught that

If not defined

Society defines them

The act of degrading is enjoyed by bullies

Power, Superiority, Indifference

Verbal threats and physical blows hurt

Like a knife

Digging deep

Deeper

Soon to be with the grim reaper

Continuation of words flow so fast

Discrimination against difference

Gender, Race, Beliefs

Did you know the biggest fear is not being bullied

But fearing to truly speak up

Kid’s voices become forgotten

Like shadows

slowly

disappearing
